Seattle Parks

On a sunny day in June, I visited three of my favorite nearby parks.  First, the Arboretum with its miles of winding paths bordered by trees from around the globe.  Then up to Volunteer Park, where I wandered through the Conservatory to give you a taste of some of the flowers in bloom.  And finally, I passed by Cal Anderson Park, where folks were reading, playing Frisbee, and generally relaxing in this fine urban park, whose centerpiece  is a volcano-like fountain that streams down to a large rectangular basin that attracts malards and park goers seeking the cool waters.
